Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens
This lens is a wide-angle zoom lens that combines optical excellence with cutting-edge performance, providing an ultra-wide angle of view in a compact, portable package, perfect for EOS cameras with an APS-C sensor. It has a 4 group optical zoom system and includes a large-diameter element, an aspherical lens element, a UD lens element and enhanced lens coatings for high-contrast, high-resolution images with minimal glare and aberration. I liked the outcome of the photos taken with the 50 mm lens and look forward to taking many more shots with it, as I work on improving my photography skills.
Love it! I am using this on a Canon 7D and I love it! Many improvements over my old 50mm 1.8 (which I lost). the bokeh is better, the autofocus is quieter, the manual focus is in a better position, and the mount in metal instead of plastic. The image quality is about the same as my old one, though I am seeing less purple fringe with this new version. I cannot recommend this lens enough for anyone on a budget, the image quality is outstanding for the price.
