Lightning fast and ULTRA sharp! to put it shortly, this thing is truly amazing. the hype about the autofocus speed is all true; never would I have expected a lens in this focal range and of this aperture to be the fastest focusing lens I’ve ever used. Granted, I’m no well-versed pro, just a hobbyist with expensive taste, but damn its good. The rumors about sharpness and image quality are all true as well, as I’ve been hard-pressed to see even a hint of CA in any photo or a change in sharpness throughout the aperture range…

Sony’s sharpest lens This is my new favorite lens, the autofocus is lightning fast and very sharp wide open, when I say sharp it’s even sharper than Sony 90mm 2.8 macro which known as the sharpest sony lens, very sexy lens too, it’s huge but not super heavy compare to sigma lenses, very nice bokeh, very quiet focus motors. Get it, you won’t be disappointed

So fast so sharp! Wow this lens is amazing. My only other prime is a canon 50 1.2L. This Sony 135 1.8 GM is my new favorite prime! It is so fast and the shots wide open are the sharpest I’ve seen! Absolutely love this lens.
