User friendly writing style helps all I recently read Jim’s book to reinforce what I’ve read before. However, his style of writing is so much clearer for all photographers, but especially beginners, that I highly recommend it to anyone in photography! Having just returned from a trip where I took lots (too many?) of photos, I decided to finally jump into Lightroom, based on his recommendation. A solid foundation! I wish someone would have given me this book when I was starting out with digital photography. You can find all of the information in this book, but you’ll have to look all over the web to find it. Jim lays out the information in a concise and easy to follow method and gives the reader tools to be successful. I like the tips for Adobe Lightroom.
