In my unscientific test shots I can confirm that the front focusing issue is indeed fixed. Funny thing since using it, I never in real world use shot MFD at 200mm. Best 70-200 on the market. Sharpness and clarity on both the R and RP are phenomenal. This is the best 70-200 on the market. That is before we talk about how light and portable it is compared to its EF mount older brother. If you carry it for some detail street photograph you wonât necessarily fail the awkwardly large lens test unless you have the barrel fully extended at all times and carry the gigantic lens hood. Zoom ring travel is slight greater then the mk2 and mk3 EF versions but a perfectly acceptable trade off…
