Great IQ and useful I like this more than the 16-35 f2.8 Sony GM for couple reasons:1. Smaller + Lighter = more convenient2. They overlap at 16-24mm, so the real comparison is do you want 12-15mm vs 25-35. 12-15mm is really useful, and there are plenty of great alternatives at the 25-35 focal length, and most people already have a 35mm prime shooting faster than f2.8Couple things that aren’t so great:1. You’ll be glad you went with this 12-24mm instead of the 16-35. Like many people, I really agonized between this lens and Sony’s 16-35mm. I’m SO glad I went with this one, and I think you will be, too, if your main uses are the same as mine: interior photos and landscapes.
