The optical system, construction, and exterior are the same as the EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III USM’s. The difference is that it uses a DC motor instead of a USM to drive the AF.Format Compatibility: 35mm Film / Full-Frame Digital Sensor,Canon (APS-C).

If You Work It, It Will Produce. When I first got this lens I really didn’t know what I was doing but wanted a telephoto zoom lens. After years of practice and bettering my skills, it’s one of my favorite lenses. It isn’t an L-series lens but for the price, it’s still capable of high-quality results as the pictures I’ve attached show. All of those images were shot in RAW and taken with a Canon 5D Mark II. The picture of the moon was cropped and zoomed in.
Camera Lens Quality Review I personally do a bit of school photography as a freelance in college and this lens does wonders when I need to take pictures of athletes on the court I have used it indoor and outdoor and gotten some amazing results it just requires figuring out the proper distancing you need between the subject and catching focus. It’s great for sports and I’ve enjoyed mine for almost a year now doing basketball, volleyball, soccer, and this year I will be working on baseball and swim. Overall review 10/10…
…Very poor quality…Lens has aready failed…Canon should be ashamed… This is the CHEAP kit lens…This is the WORST lens Canon has ever produced…I don’t know why they decided it was a good idea to subject their customers to this awful lens…Mine has failed after a short time and is now a paper weight…It never did get sharp photos…Focus motor is loud and slow. If you try to manually turn the tell barrel it is not smooth. It is sticky and choppy…Dont be tempted by the low price…Its cheap for a reason…DO NOT BUY THIS LENS…YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
