All around fantastic lens!! I’m a wedding and event photographer. Better than the previous version of this lens Image stabilization is noticeably better than the previous version of this lens, which I also have. Zoom and focus rings are larger and easier to pull. I use it for video and the action is also smoother than the previous version. I think it holds focus through the zoom better as well.
Grat Upgrade for my 80D I read a lot about the minimun picture quality difference upgrading from the EFS 18-135 USM kit lens to the L series when you shoot with a crop sensor.Well, I’m not the expert but this lens is amazing, focus in no time, no fear of sand, dirt or little rain, the picture quality grows a lot.Also, the focus distance indicator on the barrel is maybe the best of all because finally I can do hiperfocal and focus to infinity in 2 seconds.And also: I feel like the king of the world…
