More than a landscape book: Truly stunning, diverse collection of photos with an international flair OK, now THIS is a coffee table book! The quality of the photos, on semi-gloss paper, is superb … every little detail is clear and the colors pop. The photos are big, too–either a two page spread or a one-and-a-half page spread for each with no margin (full page) or a narrow white margin. Disappointing I was disappointed with this book. I was hoping for really nice photos for my father who has dementia. Instead the photos are small and less than spectacular. The quality is good but that is all.
It is already the best seller in photojournalism! The photographs included in the latest National Geographic Book (Stunning Photographs) edited by Annie Griffiths are truly stunning! I can give 10 gold stars to the entire book as well as to each one of the fine images. The book has been out exactly a month today and already it has become the best seller in photojournalism. What a great achievement by National Geographic! This book would make a perfect gift for this Christmas! People of all ages can really enjoy reading the book for sure!
