It does it’s job. This lens is a performer. I have never shot the sony 1.4 but I don’t feel like there could be $700 of improvement in this lens.

This is my 3rd Sigma lens for Sony At first I was skeptical about buying but I knew I wanted a 35mm F1.4 for my Sony A7R3. After long research I figured this would be the best most economical option and let me say I was wrong..
