Cheap lenses The tulip hood didn’t fit the 55mm or 500 mm, and the x2 zoom comes apart exposing the actual glass freefloating around. This was disconcerting.The package is serviceable. If I had to do it over again, however, I would probably purchase the camera and some accessory kits, then purchase the lens as separate items. Updated- External flash meltdown My son loves this bundle with one exception, the external flash that it came with got so hot the first time he tried to use it that it actually started to melt! Beginner level I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was not this. The body of the camera feels cheap. The shutter sound is loud. With that said I guess it is what digital cameras are today.
