Don’t use microfiber cloths to clean your lenses! Get this pen instead. I’m relatively new to photography–I got my first DSLR in July 2017 for my birthday.Until I got this pen, I’d been using the microfiber cloths (that I got with my glasses) to wipe smudges from my lenses.Later, I read that the microfiber cloth method can do bad things to my lenses–I might drag a little particle of grit or dust over the lens and scratch it–so I stopped using the cloths, and got this pen.First, I start with the brush to clear away any larger dust…

Be careful – this product has CHANGED and is no longer as pictured I like this product, and it works well and has been a workhorse for me, but the vendor has recently changed the design of the product and I felt I needed to comment on it.The thumb lever is now black, not yellow, is much more difficult to operate, and the pen itself is about 1″ shorter in length and slightly thinner in diameter.You can see the new version here:The Nikon…

Does the job I’m not completely sure why it leaves black residue when I brush t on my finger but I think its part of the cleaning
