It would be nice to have had it packaged differently When I first received the lens, I was perplexed that it did not come inside a box, nor have any instructions. It was simply wrapped in bubble wrap inside a bubble mailer with piece of paper asking for a review.When I attached the lens, it gave an error message, as others have mentioned, stating that the lens was not attached.After a quick search online, I saw someone suggest to turn the lens, to extend it. I was able to do, and the lens worked perfectly.It would be nice to…
great beginner lens I teach photography at the university when people are first starting out I always recommend this lens. It is so easy to use and master. This lens is perfect for beginner shooting or just capturing a quick moment. If you are more experienced I would recommend a different lens than this just because the focal point on this is not as exact as more advanced lenses.
Christmas gift for granddaughter My granddaughter, Olivia, is a student at SCAD in Savannah, GA. She is taking some photography classes. She asked for a new lens to replace the one she had broken. She was so happy when she opened her gift. It is working great and she is back at SCAD and looking forward to taking some great photos around Savannah.
