UPDATE: From 5 Stars to 1 Star with the new kits -_- Shame UPDATE: I just bought two more sets of these and… they’re horrible. The bracket that holds the lights up no longer really works at all. Where it used to kind of click into place and hold strong, now it just falls except for the few that can just barely hold their own weight up. It’s truly a shame. These used to be so great, now they’re almost useless. Not only that, the kit came with a jumbled mix of tripods that didn’t match, like they were thrown together from different kits…
Totally Worth the Money I was incredibly skeptical about this product. I really wanted to drop way more money on a higher end kit. It was delivered in a very clean storage bag as pictured and as everyone says the instructions were horrible. I couldn’t figure out how to get the softboxes put together because the instructions specified a piece of velcro pull out that didn’t exist on mine. Good for what its worth This is a decent set for the price.The Good: It puts out good light, and the fact the you can cut it to just two lights. I like the fact that it comes with daylight bulbs. The setup if fairly simple(granted you are familiar with soft box set ups) It come with a case.The Bad: The stands are a little flimsy especially the the boom stand, you defiantly need a sand bag to balance it.
