Nice choice for Sony E-Mount ( with MC-11) I have rented this lens several times, and finally bought it because of the great price on this package. The Sony 100-400 (which I have also rented) is almost 4 times that cost. For the price and performance, this lens is a steal.The lens is light for the focal length and sharp. Outstanding value This lens offers amazing photos for the value. If you are using a crop sensor camera you are really getting a 640mm lens for this price. The filters that come with this are junk so do not use them. The CP filter caused pictures to be out of focus, see above pictures of this. Don’t ruin this lens by using them. Decent For The Price The first thing I noticed about the Sigma 100 – 400mm lens is the size. It is huge! Well, compared to the other lenses I own. Then it was the build. It feels and looks solid. The focus ring and zoom ring both operate smoothly and easily. AF is smooth and very quite although not as fast as some other lenses. You can feel the weight, but it isn’t bad hand holding.
