To give you an idea of the zoom capabilities, the photo with the car is at 0 soom, in the center you can see a rock outcroping, the other photo is zoomed in on that rock. What else is there to say? I plan to use this for some low light concert pictures, I’ll up date this review with more examples. Don’t buy GRAY MARKET CAMERA DO NOT BUY! This camera’s shutter will not work. I sent it to Nikon for repair and by the serial number was able to prove the camera was a gray market camera so it was never intended for sale in the US. Beware!
