Great Camera Great camera. Keep in mind that you’re not going to get DSLR-quality images from this camera (or any bridge camera), but this is still a great camera. It’s a fully manual bridge camera (a camera that’s between a point and shoot and a DSLR) with a great zoom range. Took it on vacation instead of full DSLR, lot lighter and decent pictures Generally good camera, not as fast to adjust settings as an DSLR but i made great pictures even with full zoom.To take a similarly capable DSLR would require me to carry a bag of lenses and for a mountain hike would have been too heavy. It does not always focus perfect at certain zoom lengths and you may have to hunt a bit to find the focus but generally worked very well. I don’t competely get how to do manual focus so i did not use that feature. At full zoom pics are soft, but well it…

Great value, incredible zoom I’ve spent a lot on cameras over the years, and this is hands-down the best value ever! I’m a Canon fan to begin with, due to their wonderful low light capabilities, and with the optical zoom on this model- be still my heart! See the tiny little bump on the horizon of the ocean? I zoomed in on it, then had to zoom out some so you could see what it is.
