good all purpose, but has weaknesses My first order of the HX99 was bad. Volume/sound didnât playback, grip fell off. That one was returned back to seller. The 2nd one I ordered from eBay.This camera is good/ok at many things just not great at anything. Iâve own/owned a bunch of Sony full frame, APS-C, and 1â Sony cameras. For what this is, a 1/2.3â sensor, which is basically slightly bigger than cellphone and the size of a GoPro sensor it gives you a ton of flexibility.itâs very much like the…

An almost perfect camera. Pros:Excellent zoom lens, although at 720mm you really should use a tripod.Love the tiltable LCD screen, I am not vain enough to use it for selfies, but it’s great for low angle shots.Perfect pocket size, but almost too small for someone with large hands.Eye level finder works well, and is a life saver in bright sunny situations.Cons:Almost non existent operating manual.
