So far its awesome for what it really is. I got my lens yesterday and put it on my Nikon D610. It does clank around while using auto focus, and because your body is doing the AF it is slower than if it were built in to the lens. Your body needs to have a focus motor in order to use the AF function of the lens. No, this is not the best lens ever. It is still a little soft at f/8. However..you’re getting it for just over $100, why do you think great zooms cost hundreds and sometimes thousands of $$? Because they are significantly better…

Pictures came out great Pictures came out great when attached to my Nikon D5300! Very impressed with the quality and the amount of ground covered with this lens, I was quite a ways away and the deer that were running past looked like they were right next to me! Sure my camera doesn’t allow autofocus to work with this lens but I don’t normally use autofocus anyways.

Pretty good for refurbished Used on a nikon d3400. Auto focus doesn’t work. Picture very sharp when manually focused. Pretty good for refurbished.
