Very nice lens. New leader in the “walkaround” category I am very very pleased with this newest superzoom from Sigma, paired with my Canon 60D. Build quality is excellent. Image quality is sharp at both ends of the range. Focus is quick and quiet. OS works extremely well. It is light weight and compact compared to others in this category, which adds to its value as a “walkaround” lens. Definitely a keeper This lens is a keeper. I did a comparison shot with my 200mm against this sigma 250mm to compare the difference in zoom and quality of the shot. The camera was on a tripod and the lenses were tested within seconds of each other. Metadata included with comparison shots. Hope this helps.I used autofocus for the emu and toad and used manual focus for the bees and butterflies.
