Not what Iâd expected I thought it would be more helpful when it came to editing for portraits. Itâs a great book for the absolute beginner for an overall discussion of what you can do with photoshop, but it you are a more than a beginner it wonât have much new information. I have to say there are way to many introâs to photoshop. If anyone knows a great portrait editing books for more of an intermediate level please let me know. ð¤
Another great book from Chelsea and Tony I have all of Tony’s and Chelsea’s books and haven’t gone wrong with any of them. Their books are concise, easy to read and have the information outlined in a logical manner. I purchase the Kindle books because of the videos, they do upgrade the subject matter over time and they have done a fantastic job of editing them for the Kindle. The Photoshop book is full of graphics with concise clear explanation of the inner workings of Photoshop. Don’t miss this one.
Helpful, but not really necessary. This is OK. There are some decent things here but basically they just direct you to the videos which are already available free on YouTube. In this format it just sort of put things together for you. Granted, itâs how they make their money, and why all the videos are free on YouTube, so itâs reasonably priced, go ahead and get it if you like, you wonât hate it.
