Plan on making your own color backdrops This is one of those purchases where half of what you get is five stars and the other half is one star. I’ll start with the five star portion of this purchase, that being the light box itself. In a nutshell, it is terrific. It has excellent light diffusion properties and gives really nice gradients when using color gels. When fully expanded, objects up to 40cm in height can be comfortably photographed within the enclosure. When you’re done with it, it easily collapses back to storage pouch size…

I use it on sunny days or cloudy days, outdoors, with no additional lighting. The photos always come out amazing, without having to do much post editing. The backdrops it comes with are pretty much useless, because they are so wrinkled and just don’t look as nice. I used two posterboards from the dollar tree instead.
