Helps even a newbie capture great candid shots I’m an absolute amateur and find using the Sports Mode to be INVALUABLE at capturing the shots I just couldn’t catch with our old camera and how long it took between shutter clicks. I don’t have to worry about blur and we wind up with amazing candid moments we can then provide to the person in the pictures.I purchased this as a kit after borrowing a D3300 and loving that, and this one is far and away the better camera.I highly recommend buying one of the double battery…

5 stars for the Nikon products. The rest is lacking. I’m very pleased with the camera. The Nikon lenses are great for beginners. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because none of the generic accessories come with instructions save the filters. This would be helpful for things like the remote shutter that I still can’t figure out how to connect to the camera. The macro/wide angle generic lenses are poor, but considering the price, I can’t complain too much. As a starter gift or pack for a beginner, this package does give everything you need…
