A book to keep at hand! I love Scott Kelby‘s books, not least because he has a sense of humor, and he writes to be understood. This new book of his is no exception. I love it!I appreciate his advice early on to carry a hood loupe to darken your LCD screen on bright, sunny days. Otherwise, you can’t see what you just shot. He gives a complete discussion of other equipment landscape photographers need to have, including a cable release, polarizer and ND filter, even telling us what type of memory cards to…

As Steve Kelby mentions in his introduction section, this book is written in the tone of one photographer speaking to another on landscape issues. His writing tone is friendly and to-the-point instruction without all the complicated technical mumbo-jumbo you see in a lot of training manuals. He mentions many useful techniques I have not seen mentioned elsewhere. You would do well to purchase this book if you are wanting to tackle…

Typical Scott Kelby Book If you have read some of the other Scott Kelby digital photography books then you know exactly what to expect. You’ll get a small dose of his patented humor which you may or may not find funny. You’ll get plenty of tips that could have been communicated in a single sentence but was elaborated in a paragraph which will take up a full page. You’ll also see a large amount of information that has been published in his previous books so you will get a sense of Deja Vu if you have his other books…
